Account Suspension due to infringe the intellectual property rights

Hi,
I would like to ask you guys for some suggestions on my current issue with my seller account. Today I have received the notification that our account has been suspended due to infringement of the intellectual property rights of others. I have never been contacted by Amazon with regards to any products in the past. This is the first time I got the email.

We are distribution company and we only buy products / brands directly from the manufacturer. We have signed distribution agreements for USA. We never offer any of the products to be sold outside of US / we don’t offer international shipment.

They only issue that I can think of it would be one manufacturer that we did not extend the agreement as of July this year. We purchased from their aprox 1000 pcs of products and during the new agreement negotiation that failed we offer the to repurchase the stock, they decline the offer, so we decide to sell off the products.
I suspect that they sent the complaint to Amazon but legally that would not be copyright infringement. There is not contractual obligation that we can’t sell the remaining stock after contract was finished.
Would someone be able to help of how would be the best to appeal the notice?

Thanks in advance

contact who field the IP complaint and get that company to remove the complaint. Amazon will do nothing until that is done.

What you say contradicts the amazon notice, which said they had contacted you before about the infringement issue. The product that caused the suspension might not be the one that caused the prior warning, but it sounds like you were already on thin ice at that point.
