After launching my first product I’ve since sold out of 4 of my popular SKUs. Got a re-order currently being produced and should be shipped soon after.
Also in the process of obtaining samples for 2 more new products I am planning to launch. In fact just placed the order for samples tonight!
I launched the first product simply as a test to see if this business model was viable. It absolutely is!
Guys, if any of you out there are still in research phase or still on the fence whether you want to do this thing or not, I’d just like to say, “TAKE ACTION!” This thing works. My first product did not even follow the 10/10/1 rule and is also complicated as it has 12 variations of size & color… I made the initial investment back in 1 month.
The lesson is, do not overthink things, do your research, & take action on calculated risk – there is no such thing as a “sure win” but hell, my product was predicted to be a loss and look how it turned out?
Good luck everyone and you are welcome to ask me questions if anyone is on the fence and needs some slight motivation to get going don’t be afraid to reach out to me or others!
There are pet products, kitchen items, electronics, too many categories to list. You’ve got to do the research and find the opportunities. Once you have your winner private labeling is a breeze after you’ve found your supplier and determined the best quality samples.
You just really gotta dive in the product research brotha! Personally I love using the JS web app for this, as you can narrow down categories and criteria you want to look for in a potential product using the JS web app product database.
Junglescout is good. But everything is a free resource until it becomes a paid resource. Get what you can for free, but you’ll learn more by doing it the old-fashioned way and analyzing BSR’s (best seller rating) and those top sellers with weaknesses (photos, description, bad seo)
