Amazon refunded a textbook that sold January 25 2016. I guess this is the notorious free txtbk rental scam that buyers run on us. So I emailed Amazon and asked if they are going to reimburse me for this book that’s not been returned to my inventory. What good is a return policy if it doesn’t also protect sellers? I’ve returned items to Amazon WITHIN 30 DAYS and didn’t get reimbursed until AFTER the item was received back at Amazon and inspected. What the hey!?!?
Yep, had this happen also when they bought it at the market peak and by the time it went live again it was worth half as much. I remind my self it is ok to let it drive me crazy… for about 30-90 seconds. After that, I can be thankful I do not own any kind of retail store where people shoplift or trash your stuff. I had a $40 return yesterday myself, but overall Amazon returns (on books) are pleasantly sparse for me
