An amazon customer emailed us asking to return an item purchased 4 months ago, price $370, shipped MF. She said, "I was in a terrible accident and in Shock Trauma for 6 days. I ordered this item but have not worn it.

An amazon customer emailed us asking to return an item purchased 4 months ago, price $370, shipped MF. She said, “I was in a terrible accident and in Shock Trauma for 6 days. I ordered this item but have not worn it. May I please return it? It was not flattering. Sorry for my delay. I just have been focused on my recovery. It would mean the world to me. Need shipping label. Many thanks!!!”. BUT she has purchased 3 more times from us after this purchase and even returned one… The only reason I am considering a return is because she has purchased from us so many times and I want her to continue coming back. I am considering telling her I will accept the return but will take a restocking fee. How much of a restocking fee can I take if I do accept the return? Amazon Restocking Fee help page doesn’t really have my situation.

I don’t do MF. But if I remember correctly you set up your return policy. Being that it is over 4 months you do not have to take it back. You can explain that it is past your return period.

On amazons site :

If you described and listed the item accurately, but the buyer simply no longer wants it, you have the option to refund the item price but not refund the shipping costs.

Keyword is option.

20% restock along with a note that you’re making a one time exception and had to pull some strings with the boss to make it happen. Then send her the shipping label with a note wishing her a healthy recovery and a safe and happy holiday season.
