How much value do you place on your brand? I’m not thinking about how much revenue you make from your products, but how much intrinsic value the name/image/idea of your business generates. Do you try and elicit an emotional or psychological reaction with it, or is it just the name of your Amazon shop and you’re focused on getting product out the door?
I’m curious to know each of your takes on this, as I’m considering how best to approach the marketing of my business and how best to present my item(s).

I think this will depend on each person and their goals. A lot of people just want to find a product that is selling well at the moment, get it listed, make bank, and move to the next one. Personally, I am committed to building a brand that I am passionate and then selling products that are in tune with that brand. In the future, once this brand is established, I may look at expanding into quick, high profit items, but I think it would be much more difficult for me to keep myself interested in if I didn’t feel attached to the product.
Since you are asking in sure you know the answer my brand is like my life mantra and the foundations on which all decisions are made are in line with my life goals I have no interest in flash in the pan “led dog collars” solve genuine problems for a specific niche market you can identify and resonate with
Emotion is out for me. I do have to believe in a product and feel that there is quality in it. I won’t sell crap quality just to make cash, but I spent a decade building a business by hand, crafting it, with utmost attention to detail. It was a princess dress up tea party store where our product was a fabulous birthday party for little girls. And honestly, in the end, it wasn’t worth it emotionally.
