Does anybody know for certain if the FNSKU labels can be modified? For instance, the generated labels show the barcode, the product name and the condition.

When you print the FNSKU directly on the packaging do we absolutely have to INCLUDE the product name + condition (New,used)?

I had purchased my competition’s product to check the quality and noticed their Barcode section only a modified barcode (stretched) + the barcode generated SKU# (ex. XB001310041) which makes it look much cleaner.

I am about to send my packaging design to my supplier with the FNSKU included on it and would like to leave off the product name line of the generated label. It’s not a big deal if I can’t I was just curious how the seller was able to do that on their packaging.

Anybody have any ideas or experience with modifying FNSKU labels?

have you seen the following resource yet? I researched into this a bit and stumbled upon this page that mentions the following:

“The label that you place on each item must include the following information:

Barcode, with appropriate quiet zone areas (the clear area surrounding a bar code).
String identifier for the barcode.
Title and description.
Condition (for example, USED).”

Here’s the source: http://docs.developer.amazonservices.com/…/FBAGuide…

ALL 18 of mine are modified. Only barcode and number are required.
