A business buyer is an Amazon buyer that has told/supplied information to Amazon to have their account flagged as a ‘Business’. The most common reason a buyer would do this is for tax exemption purposes.

I assume you are asking for 1 of 2 reasons; 1) you received an order and it has a ‘Business Buyer’ label, or 2) Amazon has asked you to become a business seller.

If the first, then all it is indicating is a buyer account that is setup as a Business account purchased from you. There is nothing different to do with the order. You just process it as you do with any order.

If the second, then Amazon has deemed one or more of your products would likely be purchased by a business buyer. The Business seller program to help sellers grow their business-to-business sales on Amazon.com. As an Amazon Business seller, you would receive benefits to help grow your sales to business customers, including the ability to offer products visible only to business customers, differences in search functionality to make it easier for business customers to find your products, and pricing and payment features that simplify buying from you in larger quantities.

It’s a good thing. It’s a business like a library or company. We like it, because UPS/FedEx Ground offers discounts to businesses (with free signature sometimes) versus a home

Most businesses also are less likely to complain and generate returns
