I have an urgent question. i’m international seller and sent my first order to the Amazon US. i sent my product via dhl. I’m tracking my shipment and it says:
Shipment cannot be cleared and permission to re-export back to origin is available. Return entry is being processed by clearance.
I’m afraid it’s going back to manufacturer. DHL asks about receiver name & phone? I provided them amazon warehouse address. How do you address your shipment to amazon? is there any receiver name in the amazon warehouse?
If you tried to ship directly to amazon, then thats where you messed up, because customs will want amazon to pay some fees, sign for stuff, etc which they will not do.
I would call dhl and ask if they can route it somewhere else, if they can then you need to find a prep company, or freight forwarder in the us willing to do it.
Otherwise you need to get it mailed back to you.
|I do everything through our DHL account. It has to be DDP: delivery duty paid, and you must have a contact number provided. Sometimes they will call to confirm details and if your don’t provide a number they will delay the shipment. Had it stuck for two weeks at some point.|
