I am a reasonable person, but I had a guy request a return on a $130 juicer 86 days after it was delivered to him. Says he moved and is just now opening the box. He says it's yellow and should be white. Not true, it's white. Also says it's missing 4 parts

I am a reasonable person, but I had a guy request a return on a $130 juicer 86 days after it was delivered to him. Says he moved and is just now opening the box. He says it’s yellow and should be white. Not true, it’s white. Also says it’s missing 4 parts, not true. I know that I can deny the request, but can he still open a A-Z claim and if so, does AZ usually side with the buyer even after almost 3 months?

You can deny the claim and fight it, because it is passed the window of returns, however you will take a ding, even if you win or refund.

So deny and keep your money. Respond with the Amazon return policy text and a link to the policy.

Why should you get a ding if its past the return date? We had someone try to return something a week after the return date which was 30 days, and Amazon said it was our option to deny it, so we did.
