Problem with Amazon Retail taking control of my listing….. Has anyone come across this before?
I am unable to change the title of one of my listings as its now controlled by Amazon Retail, according to Seller Support. Discovered this when it got changed to something incomprehensible. Even the Product & Catalogue Team have no control – they have to send a polite request to AR to change it to something more suitable.
For context, it’s a PL product and we are brand registered. This seems to have happened when Amazon Warehouse Deals appeared on our listing with 2 units (which have now disappeared). It now transpires that Amazon retail own our Product Name for evermore.
Any ideas about how to get control back?
Call Seller Central. There seems to be a lot of this going around and it typically gets restored in 24-48 hours based on the posts I’ve read. I believe one of the hallmarks was that people were suddenly down to one image and a crappy on at that.
Only when listing one item – there were two existing and I asked for them to be merged – had to tell them which listing I wanted to remain & obv I picked the one with most reviews. However I remember reading on one of these groups about someone else doing another listing – but if it’s your product you could change the UPC – and if you have inventory at AZ it’s free to recall it at the moment?
