I just wanted to post an update on my progress. My products have been with my freight forwarder since Thanksgiving (https://fbainspection.com/) and they are just now ready to be shipped to Amazon. The total cost was double my original quote and has pretty much taken up most of my margins. They misplaced part of my shipment and I had to order more pieces, and then send them back once they found them. Also, a few of my product packages were damaged and had to be replaced. To prevent this in the future, I think I will look more closely at the company to help reduce costs.
Whelp, I don’t have much of an update because there was an issue with the quality of my product during inspection, which is a whole separate topic. The gal from forest shipping who I was in contact with though was super knowledgeable about the whole process shipping to Amazon. I felt really confident that they would make sure my shipment went smoothly. If I end up using them I will be sure to message you and let you know how it goes.
`Sorry for late response didn’t see this update. Anyways, I was quoted ~$3,500. I should state I have an over-sized heavier type product. I can message you the exact weight everything would be because that is how shipping is calculated, I believe. I go into detail about my experience on my latest blog post.https://www.mrandmrsbudgets.com/my-first-fba-product-saga/
