I ordered some jewelry from Aliexpress supplier and he has shipped the items but I haven’t received the items. I alerted the seller when the parcel wasn’t delivered on the USPS Expected Delivery Date. I have opened dispute because the seller is being uncooperative in helping me trace the whereabouts of the package through his local post office by initiating an inquiry. He keeps rejecting my request for a full refund. I have done everything on my end contacting USPS Customer Support and my local USPS Delivery Supervisor to find out where the package is at in their system. Who will Aliexpress likely side with in this dispute case?
I guess it all depends. In my humble opinion, if the item was actually sent(this can be confirmed w your tracking number) then it’s USPS responsability to figure out how come it didn’t reach its destination and work on tracing it/finding it. If there is no proof that it was actually sent then I think you have to file a complaint to Aliexpress as soon as possible because if the seller didn’t actually send it though he says he did there is nothing you have to talk with him. Note that there are deadlines for filing a complaint in alibaba/aliexpress
I’m in the middle of the same issue but I contacted dispute and did the virtual assistant chat and then a real person came on after I entered the order number. They had sent the wrong tracking number twice. I didn’t know it was wrong bc it didn’t have the tracking details attached, just said it was being delivered. The third tracking number didn’t give an end-point until it was delivered… to Indiana! I live in Florida. I contacted the dispute center again and asked for a refund. Haven’t heard back abt it yet. Dispute center said I had to wait on the seller to respond, but they also said they wouldn’t tolerate a bad seller on Aliexpress. I personally think they did send something that could be verified as sent to someone they knew in Indiana but maybe not what I had ordered to a wrong address. I’ve ordered many things from Aliexpress and never had any problems, so there are bad sellers there. They didn’t have an option to leave a review so you could check their reliability or leave feedback. I think they are or have recently been on holiday so next week I will follow up again with the dispute center if I haven’t heard anything. BTW, THEY confirmed that the parcel was received, not me somehow in the site! First time for that one. I’ve always had to confirm in the past. Weird.
