I would stick with items that are already listed at first. Get the process down.

We sell a bunch in the grocery category. On thing that we have found is single items often go into “add on” status. they then move slower (at least our items) and AZ seems to come in on many single items too. To combat this we tend to sell multipacks of most grocery we sell. Takes extra time to prep but the benefits far out weigh the time.
It also raises the ASP and turns many items from losers into winners.

my advice is VERIFY VERIFY VERIFY – I ate a lot of inventory the first year because I jumped on things and then realized they weren’t goo from my side of the fence.
