I received this massage from Amazon.
But I don’t understand. Please advise me.
“You submitted a 16.00 refund to the customer for pricing error. We have cancelled the refund because the refund is going back to a visa gift card that is no longer valid and the customer no longer has. Please contact the customer to be advised on best options for the refund. The customer is still due 16.00 refund. Please send a status update to the customer.”
Customer service passes on messages from buyers regardless if what they’re asking for is possible or not. That’s what happened here. DO NOTHING except contact seller support and let them deal with it. If Amazon is so worried about this buyer, they will issue them a gift card. Either way, it’s not your problem.
First off, ensure that actually came from Amazon itself.
Second off, make sure whatever it said is actually true.
Then, contact seller support and have it go to an English-speaking supervisor and have them tell you the next step, because pretty much the only option here is to send the customer a check, but it doesn’t and should not work like that. So have them tell you what to do in this case.
Remember, you should also be getting commission back on that refund.
