I’m going through a misunderstanding with my supplier. He initially asked me if I wanted a customized design for the packaging inserted paper. I said no need I’m good with the standard one (didn’t occur to me to ask to see the standard one!) now the product is ready to be shipped to amazon, I realize the packaging if plain polyethylene plastic bag without any inserted paper! And when asked, the supplier says that’s our standard packaging!!! trying to go back and forth and seems weistling my time.

Any valuable suggestion?

Next time write a contract and you won’t run it to this problem. A contract should list the exact specifications of every item included. That will help you double check and get everything exactly how you want it.

There are some templates to follow when it comes to writing a contract.

Google it, I saw a template on a site somewhere I copied from. Include FBA and china in keywords to make it relevant

Well, you said it right there. It did not occur to you to see what the standard one was. Next time you will know to ask exactly what you’ll be getting. If your supplier is in another country, remember that their English is not so good and they may be using something like google translate or similar service which is not always correct. The phrase “No need I’m good with the standard one.” Most likely will not translate properly into their language. Especially if it is China. They have a highly formal language. It might have been better to say, exactly what you mean using precise and easily translated words like. “I do not require custom design paper insert. Please supply normal (or plain) paper insert.”
