im trying to create a seller account but it wont accept my bank issued debit card? i contacted amazon seller support and they told me they need an actual credit card, this is very frustrating as i cant get a credit card anytime soon, any thoughts?

Follow amazons rules. If you don’t you won’t get an account. And if you do and they find out later, your account will be suspended.

This is a recent change by Amazon. Sellers with debit cards are being asked to change to credit, and new sellers require a credit card. No idea why.

It’s a real credit card just secured by whatever funds you give to the bank. A good way to build your credit up.

A Bank issued Debit Card can be used as a Credit card if it has a credit card logo. A prepaid card cannot
