Is it ok to ask a merchant fulfilled question here?

I sold an oversized item MF that had the price it sold for in stores listed on it. Usually we black these out so that things like this don’t happen… But the customer saw the price that I paid and that I had charged her over 2x that due to the cost of shipping. She wrote me a threatening letter. She wants me to refund the difference. How would you recommend handling this?

I would judge the customers anger level and either ask to split the difference so you don’t lose on fees, or just refund the full difference and take it as a lesson

I got a 1 because I left a price sticker on an item and the customer paid much more for it. Amazon removed the 1.
It has something to do with prices. It is like an out of print with the price on the inside cover.
The customer is just mad that you got a better deal than they did.
I would not negotiate anything. If you get a negative rating, amazon will remove it.
The customer will not be happy unless they pay exactly the sticker price and you will lose the profit you made.

I’ve heard of people opening an A-Z claim for something as stupid as this, so be careful. Once a claim is open it will hurt your account, even if Amazon sides with you. Of course it’s your business so handle it as you see fit!

If the customer wants to return it, that’s their prerogative but to threaten you make a copy of the letter just in case. Ones they agreed with selling price, no matter how much you bought it that’s their non of there business. But that’s me.
