Is it true that you need to have a Professional Seller's account to apply for Brand Registry on Amazon?

I have a couple of questions and would like to request your help on it.
1) Is it true that you need to have a Professional Seller’s account to apply for Brand Registry on Amazon?
2) Does Amazon require people with Professional Sellers accounts to carry a liability insurance?
3) Are you required by Amazon to have a Professional Sellers account to run promotions (PPC), and set up giveaways?

Thanks, I appreciate your assistance.

if you have any intention to even sell on Amazon beyond a hobby level, you’ll want a professional account. Period.

So in my opinion, these questions are irrelevant. Get a pro account. Get busy making money and you won’t even think of the fee.

I’ve never noticed it. Ever.

This is about the liability insurance- do you carry it for your Amazon business.

  1. No. But its better. With it you can use bulk upload to get upc exemption. Otherwise you buy upc codes and list manually.

  1. Yes, but there’s a sales quantity threshold over three months before its required, in most cases. (for the $1 million liability CGL)

You have to also check the  product liability insurance typically cost. And also who is the best and cheapest in Florida.
