Is today the day for idiotic morons? I’ve been inundated with NUMEROUS inquiries today. This one, though, takes the cake.

Person bought a computer with a 3 year warranty back in August of 2013.

Just recently the company had to close down (file bankruptcy) due to too many damaged computers with no reimbursements.

Just now the computer has an issue, so they message, and I resolve that it needs a new hard drive. I tell them that the company has unfortunately gone under.

I still sell on Amazon to make living money (which is going QUITE a bit better than the computers ever did.)

Their response:
Are you kidding me? Than why are you still selling on Amazon? I want my money back.

Do what I do when someone emails me. If the order was beyond 30 days, I don’t even bother responding. If the order was within the 30 day window, I try and work with the customer.

Just a tip, but I worked for a company that got suspended by Amazon for racking up too many A-Z claims in a short period of time (literally not a single one of those claims was valid, Amazon decided in our favor on every single one, but since they were filed, it counted against us). And because of the suspension, Amazon looked deeply into our account and how we handled things. They specifically said that using the ‘mark as no response needed’ the way that we were, which is the way you guys are using it to, was against their policies and that we wouldn’t be allowed to do that anymore. If you’re not doing it all that often you should be fine, but Amazon does pay attention to when and how that button is being used.
