I’ve been an amazon seller for 1 month and 4 days now. I’ve just received my first reimbursement for warehouse lost merchandise. What is the best way to keep an eye on my fba merchandise without watching it like a hawk every hour? I had paid the extra and shipped it all to 1 warehouse. Seeing as the warehouse was the next state over and delivered the day after I shipped it, I thought all would be good. It took them 6 days to check it in. It was in my inventory and then completely disappeared out of the inventory without being sold. What I had been doing was once an item was checked in, I keep an eye on the amount, any items being sold and any items on reserve…doing the math when necessary. Is there an easier way to make sure amazon and I agree with the amount they have? Would it be overkill to download a report every night or every morning for the inventory in the warehouse?

That’s a common complaint. We’ve had stuff simply vanish already. You know, send in 100, they check in 100, sell 2 and there’s 90 left with the other 8 *poof* gone. Not in transfer. Nothing. Honestly we just keep an eye on the inventory reports and *events*. Then when you throw returns into the fray its really chaotic.

What do you do at that point when you see the inventory disappeared? Use the reconcile tab?
