Just got denied for beauty ungating, the email wasn’t specific and just said to refer to category ungating approval on Amazon. I sent in retailer receipts with larger than 15 units per order, I know that their policy says to use purchase order or vendor invoices, but I hear from a lot of people that they had success with retailer receipts more than anything else. Is it possible for me to:
a) reapply again in a couple days and use the exact same receipt documents as before, hoping that I will get a more lenient ungating representative? Or will this look bad and hurt my seller account?
b) continue to use retail receipts or do I really need to buy from a wholesale vendor in bulk before I can get approved?

This is the 9th post saying the exact same thing I have seen today. It appears amazon is cracking down and you might have to go get three different wholesalers and purchase from them. On your seller account….. Every denial letter I have ever seen says “This does not reflect negatively on your seller account” Knowing that I would reapply at a completely different day part

a). Absolutely. You’re dealing with the bureaucracy of a corporation. It really depends on who ends up reviewing your case. But if you’re really worried, maybe add an extra receipt or something.
b). You do not need formal PO’s. If that were the case, half the people ungated in this group would never have been ungated.

UGH just got denied for Health and Personal Care with the exact same email. Double whammy of disappointment! Yeah, the email says that it does not necessarily reflect badly on my seller account, so I’ll just send in my documents and reapply right after xmas. Maybe there will be more lenient reps then.

I showed them three invoices from a California company showing hundreds of items purchased totaling thousands of dollars each.
