Hi, looking for bit of help, i’m using Jungle Scout to look for new products, have been tracking a few for a while but finding the data a bit confusing and not really sure how accurate it is. Only using JS not the extension. i have added a few images. The first one is of the Jungle Stix that that Greg had done a big post on, this I can understand as its showing inventory and the sales. Then I looked at other products, you see in the other graph that there is 1000 units but no sales. The info on the product tells me that the average daily sales are 113 and the average daily revenue is $2,484.00 i understand that this is an average but there are no sales. I was wondering if this is a good product to look into or not bother due to the lack of info? This is a BSR which makes me think that it’s probably doing ok figures but not whats listed? I have also noticed this with a few BSR listings in other categories and it throws me off as I think its maybe not the kind of product to look into. Any ideas?

Read again: “if you want to track a product. in the Jscout extension you can click on the BSR of a single product and the price.” you would want to track both the BSR and the price and see how it changed over the past time.

That second image looks a little strange, there is suppose to be a green line on there showing the sales rank each day. When there is over 1000 units in stock that is also how we estimate sales so its strange it’s not showing up. Maybe a bug? Or maybe something going on with Amazon? If you would like to email us the ASIN at support@junglescout.com we can defiantly look into this a little deeper.

I never use the jungle app, it is really a waste of monthly money, I have used it for one month, saw how innacurate it is and how limited it is, unsubscribed and just made JscoutPro, which also has it flaws, but I still find much more use to it… if you want to track a product, in the Jscout extension you can click on the BSR of a single product and the price and see the changes over the time. – otherwise just do it manualy, you will have much better results and much better market insight
