My supplier is for the most part not wanting to print/label my FNSKU for me on the product. Is it a big deal? Can i just have amazon do it for me when it gets to the warehouse without issue?

2 questions!
1)My supplier is for the most part not wanting to print/label my FNSKU for me on the product. Is it a big deal? Can i just have amazon do it for me when it gets to the warehouse without issue?
2) I was quoted for duties by a well known shipping/freight forwarding company before i even provided any information. Does that sound right?

You can have it done by Amazon without a big deal but will end-up paying $0.20 for each unit.

Yea ive read that. But it should be okay to ship without them right. Do i have to notify amazon before hand that i will need them to put the codes on them.

From Amazon : It seems, the product needs to have UPC or a scannable bar code. ” If there is no eligible manufacturer barcode on the item, you must apply an Amazon barcode to the item yourself.”

They must know the commodity before knowing the duty rate. So a little strange. But you should be able to look it up online I think, to see if it is correct. Be aware of products labeled anti dumping, they could hit you as hard as 100%.
