Need some advice. I found a product/supplier that are basically perfect, but the supplier won’t do orders fewer than 1500 units. I simply don’t have the capital for that. So what are my alternatives?
Is it possible to get a different supplier to provide that product? How would I go about doing that? Should I just wait a year or however long it takes me to *make* the capital using a different product (my concern with this is that the product is perfect *now*, but I don’t see it staying available for me to snatch up in a year’s time)? What do you guys think?

One way was to tell them that you needed 100 samples for all of your retail outlets around the country. So that they could be sampled at store level by the managers. Obviously you’re making this up. And he was saying how he managed to do this even after the initial small sample order.

you can try and work something out with your supplier. You could ask if you can order 500(or however many units you can order) units for the first order but tell them you will order 1500 on the second order

you can agree to pay some upfront costs (say for packaging) and let them hold it for you and send the units as you need
