Not-Returnable items

I show that amazon pet foods are not returnable. How do I set up my items to make it not-returnable?
I have buyers returning pet foods based on many factors such “my dog hates the food after few bites”, “bought by mistake”, “pet food too expensive”, “I thought I was buying 25lbs just by looking at the price”.

These reasons tick me off and I want to find a way to prevent that, I figured if pet food sold by amazon is not returnable, then I should be able to have the same settings.

Any help is gratefully appreciated. Thank you

You are missing the point. Though the return is optional, the refund is required most of the time. You may still want the return to deal with quality control and reduce abuse from customers keeping and consuming the items.

If a customer either indicates that the item they received is the wrong one or has a problem with it, you must allow a return and provide a full refund when they receive it. Customers can also ALWAYS return unopenned items within the return window (which right now is until January 31), but shipping costs are on them. Make sure they know that shipping costs both ways will be deducted as it might allow your to avoid the return. Forget about restocking fees for any but openned items that do not have any complaints. Even then, expect to risk the A-Z claim and negative feedback. Make sure you can afford to cope with the consequences.

You need to consider very carefully about refusing a return for almost any reason. You are not likely to win an A-Z claim and if you have a few of those, you will be suspended. Significant numbers of negative feedback will also sink your company.

If the products you are selling are not well received, stop selling those products immediately and look to return them to your suppliers, if you can.

You should not even be debating or arguing with the customer. If you do not have a happy customer, determine what you need to do to make them happy and if you can afford to do that. An unhappy customer will hurt your business on Amazon. You can not afford to have very many.

If you are not able to achieve and maintain a very high success rate, you need to get out quickly before this turns into a disaster.

You are permitted to refund for non-returnable items.

Customer service is your responsibility. You’ll need to develop the policies that work for you within Amazon’s policies.

Non-returnable does not mean it is a non-recourse sale,
