On January 17, 2016, new USPS rates will go into effect. Amazon has negotiated discount prices for Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express that are available when you buy shipping through Amazon Shipping Services.

For Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express, for the time being the total shipping costs will remain at 2015 rates.

USPS rates for all other shipping options will increase at public rates.

Yeah the lower First Class Parcel rates got hammered. $2.04 to $2.60 for a 3oz package. That’s a ridiculous increase.

Amazon rates are cheaper for Priority, of course they don’t offer regional rate

It just depends on the item and what your pricing was before. A padded flat rate envelope under the old rates was 5.70 commercial base/5.35 commercial plus. New rates are 6.10/5.90.

It is 15.999 oz, technically, and it should work on Amazon. The only good news in the price increases
