I have a small trial order of products that I want to send in to FBA basically for practice. It’s all the same product with 4 different colors. It can all easily fit into one box for shipping.
Here’s my questions/concerns:
I have to create the labels myself and put them on the poly bag. The bag is 9 1/4 inches by 10 1/2 inches. So to my understanding I’ll need to create a label that has:
FNSKU bar code
Made in China
Is that correct? If thats all I need are there any requirements about the size of the label itself? I know they say to not use a inkjet printer but can I get away with it for this one small shipment?
Also my item for sale is actually two different items I’ve bundled together but should be sold as one unit and both items will be in that poly bag.
Sorry for the long winded post. Thanks for any advice!
When you create your shipment, Amazon gives you the option to print labels. Those labels will have the FSKU and an abbreviation of your product name as well as condition. You just print it off as Amazon tells you. It opens as a PDF file. You do not need “Made in China” on your label as long as it’s on the individual products. The label is to help Amazon scan it in. The suffocation warning is a separate label if it’s not already on your poly bag. The main thing about the inkjet is so the label ink doesn’t smear or fade. You should be fine for a small batch. Get some Avery-type labels and go for it.
