Signature Confirmation

I heard that Amazon had changed their policy where if you don’t do signature confirmation, Amazon will now side with the seller if the buyer claims it was not delivered. Is that true?

No, many times amazon refunds these claims from the seller’s account as only signature tracking is accepted as proof of delivery.

Please spend some more time browsing these forums

IN THE CASE where the shipping was purchased through Amazon
AND it is domestic shipping not international
AND the valid tracking is entered for the order confirmation
AND the buyer claims Item not received (INR)
AND the buyer opens an A-Z complaint
THEN Amazon’s relatively new policy is that Amazon will cover the A-Z INR refund to the buyer.

In practice, Amazon has not always followed policy.

It is also Amazon’s strong recommendation to have signature confirmation above a certain value. If you ship a multi-$100 item with out sig con and expect Amazon to have your back on the INR, then you may get a nasty surprise.
