What are the most common problems you don’t have clear solutions to when it comes to selling on Amazon?

I think the biggest 2 problems when you start selling on Azon are picking the first product and promoting it (getting reviews).

The specifics of communicating with customers after purchases. Like how to set up a follow up email sequence, etc. And how to get customer emails in the first place.

For me it would be picking the product i.e. how to determine the niche, and exact product to choose to work with for selling on Amazon FBA and How to choose a product which will provide regular daily sales, as opposed to drip fed slow sales throughout the month.

How about sales tax reporting? There is huge controversy about this and Nexus with inventory stored in various states. I know this is a CPA question but would like to know what you do Chris. I am in Washington state also. Seems a lot of the answers online are from tax companies or affiliates trying to sell their services. Should we just start selling and worry about this stuff later?
