They usualy state that’s a sample and the value is $0.01. Jay answered 3 years ago You must login to post comments 0 0 makes no difference in my opinion, usually a sample (if small enough) will be handled by someone like DHL or Fedex and they will handle the clearance and then charge you the vat and duty. It’s good for the Chinese company to know that you are a serious company though who expect to order larger quantities later.
