When sending your logo to a supplier, which file do you send, Ai…?
Thanks

By the way, I meant *vector* .eps, not a bitmap or Photoshop .eps.

This graphic designer would ALWAYS convert text to outlines before sending a logo or design file to anyone. (Because you can’t guarantee that the other party will have the same fonts used in the design.)

I recently had this happen to me…the designer didn’t convert text to outline and the text was all jacked up. It was a Fiverr gig and now I can’t use the logo because I’ve already paid her and they can’t make edits because it’s against Fiverr TOS.

that’s sucks and is lame but you can just track down the font and have a different designer open it and outline the fonts for you. I’m a designer and I’d do his for a small fee

it does suck and I was very happy with the design, but I had to ask for the .ai version and was only originally given the .png. Luckily I wanted to drop the text,(tag line) underneath the logo, for the customization on my product and the .png has sufficed for the label I am slapping on the package. I have a designer in the family that I can have fix it, but thanks anyway.
