This strange requires comes only because buyers are contacting support by phone, and they send a message regarding this.
Its like customer talking to Amazon rep : please tell them that shipping is not reasonable or bla bla and please waive the fee, and then Amazon Rep only forwarding the message.
For us, the email said the buyer was new to AZ and didn’t know some buyers charge shipping, so please refund all shipping fees as a courtesy (package was already shipped). We said we could not, as it was shipped. AZ did a UPS package intercept on the buyer’s behalf, and changed the destination back to us (return to sender) midway to the buyer. This was an MF package, where we purchased our own shipping. Completely stunned AZ can do that.
We answered we could not as the item was en route. This was an MF package. Amazon’s next move? Amazon actually called UPS and told them to return the package to sender, while the package was en route to the buyer. Never had this happen before.
