A customer complained.
Phoned her since with us, requests for return are rare. In my opinion, the personal touch-reaching out to a customer- is best. After our conversation, sent her 2 follow-up e-mails. (That’s just me-I’m OCD and duplicate many messages)
Wow!! The Customer Messages under SELLER CENTRAL won’t clear-and you know Mother A. will mark us down if we don’t respond 24 hours. Also taking forever for messages to clear the system. Sent one around 1 PM and at nearly 3 PM still hasn’t cleared.
Chatted w/ Punaam who said there was a glitch in the system and they are working to correct it. He assured me that it wouldn’t effect my metrics, that customer performance would give me an exception.
Should I contact a MOD, just to make certain??
Yes, it’s still happening on mine. What I do is respond to the customer then go back to the original email, which still shows I have not responded even though I have, and I click the box that says “no response needed”.
I would not just click that box prior to answering of course…but that way the metrics are not hurt, and the customer is responded.
Why so many technical glitches lately? I still can’t print labels easily while using Safari. I have to use Firefox in order to print quickly.
