Can I change "time in transit" for Media Items?

Hello,

I am primarily a book seller on the Amazon Marketplace.

I process and ship all orders myself (as opposed to FBA).

I noticed that my current “time in transit” for Media Items indicates to customers that any media order placed today (December 1) will arrive between December 8 and December 27.

I’ve never had a media mail parcel take 25 days in transit. I cannot however locate a place where I’m able to edit this. Does anyone know if/how this can be done?

Any help is much appreciated as buyers now have the impression that they may not receive their order by Christmas, thus business has slowed dramatically.

Media sellers who have the metrics to qualify are offered the ability to specify a shorter transit time, when they list an item.

Amazon has set rules for media. If you are an individual seller you can not change this.

(December 1) will arrive between December 8 and December 27.

This is not usually the case for me. My media mail is usually within 5 days, anywhere in the US.

There are some instances where it is considered US mail, but takes longer.

Hawaii and Alaska and any US territory. can take longer, and can take more time.

I would not worry about the length of time.

If you want a shorter time limit, offrt priority or 2 day shipping.
