i suggest consulting w/a lawyer and accountant in your state. personally, i only pay for the states where i have nexus. i do not think merely sending ONE item to say some guy in kansas creates sufficient ‘nexus’ personally.
I have read that. And I have asked my account, she was not quite sure either. It seems like tax jar is staying the nexus requirement, but not mentioning that for online sales it’s still somewhat of a grey area. I’m Curious to hear if anyone has chosen to NOT file for state sales tax and been required to pay, has this happened to anyone?
https://www.sba.gov/…/collecting-sales-tax-over-internet Dont bother with an accountant. Like ive stated several times when it comes to taxes. Ask a LAWYER. Get a free consultation and find out what is right for you. Your state, your county, your income. etc.
