Can we have a theory discussion about when it’s time to let a product go?
I have a product that’s a solid single (10-20 sales/day) in an increasingly competitive niche. Something like 30 sellers have aggressively jumped in in the past 6 months and I’m beginning to lose some traction (slipping down pg 1). PPC ads are getting more expensive and not really worth it.
It’s still doing decent, but I feel like I see the writing on the wall. So my question, when do you choose to let a product go? How do you recognize the end of the lifecycle for that product?
