I’m getting a bit desperate with setting up my seller account, so I thought I will post here maybe somebody can help. Especially somebody who is selling on Amazon.com from outside US.
So I’ve tried to set up my seller account and Amazon asked for a few information from me: an utility bill for checking if my credit card information is correct and a business license.
I’ve sent the utility bill, and since I’m not sure what they mean about business license, I’ve sent my EIN number which I’ve used with selling Kindle ebooks as well.
They did not accept these, and sent me the email about asking for my informations again. The exact same letter without any explaining what I sent wrongly.
I thought maybe some mistake happened so I sent them the informations again, and asked them if they can tell me what information is missing or if there is a problem with what I’m sending to them. Then I got the following email:
We reviewed your account and the information you provided, and we have decided that you may not sell on Amazon.com.
We may not respond to further emails about this issue.
I admit I may have rushed through all of this and probably made some blunders. I realized I’ve added only a debit card for my charge method and that is why they could not accept it. Also, I could have sent them my hungarian entrepreneur license which says that I’m a sole propreitor. I’ve tried to explain all of these to Amazon in my appeal for my suspension, but they simply not responding. I find it extremely disappointing that they can’t give me an explanation, when the whole problem could be resolved with one email.
I hope somebody can help me what my next step should be, considering that it looks like I won’t be able to reach the seller central support through email.
