I did a promo give away about 2 weeks ago to some of the top Amazon reviewers (about 10 to be exact) and I have yet to get a review. What is average turn around to get reviews back?
Also, I gave away some to family and friends for Christmas and asked them to give an honest review. I got 3 reviews from friends and Amazon ended up pulling them because they said I knew them. So now I am back at 0 reviews waiting to get reviewers.
When I use the top 100 Analyzer, all I get is the top 100 products for each category. What I am looking for is the ability to find products in a sub category, with a rank of over 100,000 say. With the Amazon Product Inspector I can search a keyword in the master category and then use filters to find products in the rank range I am interested in, and that is a great feature. To have this same ability in a sub category is what I am talking about.
Imagine producing 200or 300 goods which are customised. Its pretty expensive for the manufacturer. They are use to producing private label goods in there 1000s. If you want to order a sample just get a sample which hasn’t got your name on it. It wont make a difference as you are the only one seeing the product at this stage. Its relatively normal to pay for shipping. My advice to you is dont worry about getting your name carved onto the product. When you design your packaging ask for a white sticky label with your name on it. I recommend you do this because you dont really know if your product will sell and its expensive to. The labels will be applied to your packaging for around 30-40 dollar’s. Your packaging and product will be develop as you sell more items. Dont go all out, take it easy and let your product evolve as your sales increase.
How do your Ajax sites do compared to your wordpress sites for free traffic and on conversions? Thinking I might have better natural SEO with one of your Azon theme sites. I just bought FSB from your email but trying to plan ahead to maximum return for effort. (that might be FBA LOL right?) Thank you Chris (It is a great deal for sure)
What everyone else here said basically. Cheapest will be sea, but air is faster and in many cases the faster you can sell the faster you can turn that money around into more inventory and continue selling more etc so it’s worth considering just doing air perhaps to start until you’ve got your timelines figured out best to handle sea.
Amazons TOS don’t allow deeply discounted products for reviews. They do clearly allow reviews if there is a 100% discount code, ie. the product is free. They also know who your friends & family are and don’t allow those reviews. (they must get the data from FB). Free product reviews will stick.
Although, I’m not an authority on this – however still I’ll try and answer this to the best of my judgment.
I believe you should have two different Amazon Seller Central Accounts, one for the USA and second for the Brazil. Both should have different email address to set up – have a look at this link which answers the problem of setting up different amazon seller accounts for different countries.
