How important is it during initial launch to NOT run out of budget during the day?

Day 1 of PPC on my new product. I decided to turn it on after getting 10 reviews through my Launch promo. I set my budget at $25/day and set max bid at $2. Automated campaign to start. I spent most of the day at the first or second spot on page one sponsored ads. I can’t tell yet, but I think I sold a couple units thanks to ppc (I sold five today…but three I’ve confirmed as promo units for my Launch Team). Anyways, my point….my budget ran out at approximately 8pm EST tonight. How important is it during initial launch to NOT run out of budget during the day? Anything I should do differently? I’m afraid I am missing out on potential sales, as I doubt my product would be found at this point without ppc. Advice appreciated….thanks!
