How should I adjust prices to reflect new fees/shippin of media products

I am an individual seller, selling about 50 – 60 books/month. I upgraded to “professional” to save that per-item fee. With the fee increases, I would have to raise prices on my fastest selling items – the ones I make $1 on – or get a negative “profit.” Then, I would be less competitive compared to the big time sellers who can sell for 1 penny. Am I supposed to go through my entire inventory – about 2500 books – and re-price? And, what about shipping? Any easy way to do this?

No one can tell you how to price. I will tell you my plan:

I have currently close to 900 books on Amazon. By March 1, 2017, I will have considerably fewer as I will remove almost everything under $10. Some of these books, of which I am the only seller, I may raise the price to $10. The other books will be donated to my local FOPL group. As for paying commission on the shipping credit, I am not worried about what amounts to 45 cents per book.

My under $10 books will be removed for sale at the flea market (remember, never keep all your sales on one venue).
Over $10 I will continue to sell.
