Hi everyone! I am about to place my first order with my supplier in China. I had a couple of questions that someone could help me answer.
1. How have you negotiated payment with your Chinese supplier? Letter of Credit, escrow.com, or another way?
2. I know through the articles to go with a product that could be private labeled, however I have found a niche market for branded products and the Chinese manufacturer has an amazing price point to make the margins work. Has anyone worked with sourcing branded products before? How did you do your due diligence to make sure they are authentic? (I know this is probably considered retail arbitrage but any help would be greatly appreciated)

Just ask your supplier what methods of payments they accept. Most do PayPal. Bank transfer or even western union. Many will do alipay escrow.
I would do a REAL lot of inquiry selling alleged branded products. That’s a quick way to get booted off Amazon and have your “counterfeit” products returned to you.
