I have a question about Sales Tax. How do you deal with it? It seems like a huge task to register my company to every states, submit tax forms, etc.

this is one of those “consult your own legal or tax professional” I’ll ask my attorney if we could do some webinar on it or something but issues can arise if I’m giving advice to hundreds / thousands of people (who watch replay etc) and I’m wrong. Then potentially I am found at fault.

I did speak to my accountant and another tax professional about this case, but since I am from an EU country, nobody has a clue about this…
I tried to do my research and what I found is that we FBA sellers are subject to sales tax regardless where we operate our business from. So if you are not from the USA, you may have to deal with taxes in both country (your home and the USA).
If I were a US citizen I wouldn’t spend a minute on trying to figure out how these things are working, but since I am not, I don’t even know where to start.

we (non-US sellers utilizing Amazon FBA) will have to pay sales taxes at those states where Amazon FBA has their warehouses (Amazon FBA has nexus). How this will be/should be done, I have no idea.

If Amazon omits your affiliate commission on your own product, it’s only fair, at at least you still sold the product, right? You are not an affiliate to your own product, that’s where the rubber meets the road.
