Hi everyone, here is my story of how I failed:
I started selling with Amazon FBA like a year ago. I saw a great gap in the market: the silicone wedding ring. It sold really great on Amazon and there was not a lot of competition at the time. Of course it was my first product and I didn’t really know what to do. After some time I gave some away to get reviews. But I still didn’t rank for the keywords I wanted and got the sales I want. So I made better pictures, optimized my listing and thought it my sales would grow. It did, but only from selling 1 ring per week to selling 2 per week. I was really happy and thought I was doing great! So I bought 500 more rings (started out with only 150). This was a bad idea, the 2 per week dropped and that is mainly because there is a LOT of competion on these silicone wedding rings. So I still have these rings at FBA and I don’t sell even 1 per month….
Now for my second product I saw another gap, there is this great product that sells great, but where is almost no competition. When I started it was the december month and it sold pretty good, but now it doesn’t sell anymore.
I lost a lot of money and I’m feeling pretty bad about it. Especially when you see most of the people right here succeed and I do the same as everyone, just the things Scott says, but I’m just not lucky or forgetting things.
There is another product I found where I see an oppertunity, but I’m afraid it will not go well again. I wanted to ask if someone did 2 products and also failed, and how they got theirselves motivated again?
Thanks for reading and commenting in advance

The issue is you aren’t dominating. Your product isn’t unique anymore, and when it was, you didn’t take over that niche. Time to start moving to a new one.
