I’m new to retail and online arbitrage. I’m focusing on getting ungated on beauty, grocery and health, in that order of preference. Does anyone know of a specific step-by-step process to get it done? I’m open to do-it-yourself or paid-service options. Any input is much appreciated.

Those categories have been very difficult to get ungated in lately. You should pay someone to get ungated if you really want it to happen. Think there are two people who come highly recommended, but I don’t know their names. Maybe someone else does.

Try it yourself if you havent already. If you have zero familiarity with the process, open a case with a rep, and ask them. If they are lacking in information, (doubtful) you will get another referral email and an answer from the approval team on the steps. Sometimes they can be confusing, however, being a school teacher, you should have the wherewithal to complete the task. In the help section of Amazon there is also a mention of ta special email address. pre-approval@amazon.com (I believe off top of head) you can ask them. this is the department your submissions go to. If you cant locate it. Go ahead and try listing a product restricted. the limitations button will send you to apply. click away until you get some sort of submission. an email return is sure to follow asking for more info.
