Problem getting package delivered to Amazon via USPS Priority Mail Express

Hello all,

I have sent several packages to the FBA facility in Crymlyn Burrows, Swansea (CWL1) but this time when tracking a package I sent about a week ago, I see a strange message in the tracking information, and I’m not sure what to make of it. The shipping method I used is USPS Priority Mail Express International. The tracking info says, “Your item could not be delivered on August 3, 2015 at 12:32 pm in UNITED KINGDOM due to the addressee requesting pick up. It is being held while the addressee is notified.” Has anyone ever experienced this before? Should I be worried? Here’s a link to the tracking info so you can see for yourself.

Any guidance or advise about this issue would be great! Thank you!

Would presume the delivery service would be delivering multiple times a day there.
Have sent via Royal Mail to Swansea dozens of times without issue.

Unless USPS is using a local courier needing to book slots?

Hello there,

This is a strange message, I have never seen this before. Amazon is most definitely not requesting to pick up the parcel themselves.

I would advise you to contact USPS directly to see if they can provide you with further information.
