Hi

buyer return item and I did full refund ..

when the item sold Amazon charge me fees 82.47 and when I did the full refund they refund buyer only 77.47 and they charger me the different $5 .. My question why would they keep $5 from the fees and charge it on me ?

If you’re saying you refunded less than what the buyer paid then you did it wrong.

If you’re saying the buyer was refunded MORE than what they paid, you did it wrong.

If it’s FBA, and they refunded a buyer, while not providing the full amount back it could be due to an item being broken/damaged during shipping.

If you are specifically stating that the fees refunded are different, could be based on the specific category and/or if you are FBA.

You may think so but Amazon did incur costs processing the credit card payment and then the refund. As a result, Amazon keeps up to $5 in an ‘Administration Fee’. If you refunded partially, they still would have kept a partial amount in an ‘Administration Fee’.
