sellers! Need some quick feedback.
I’ve hit a bit of a snag. I’ve gone through everything, found my product, talked and found a supplier, and am ready to order.
The cost of shipping is waaay over my estimate. If we’re to believe that it costs roughly $6 – $7/kg via air, my supplier tells me my entire order will be roughly 365kg… which comes out to be about $2555. A foolish mistake in allocating $1000’ish for shipping.
So i’m thinking sea. But here’s where things get tricky.
1) If I go by sea, what is the average $ per kg? How much am I saving?
2) Does anyone know of any freight forwarders from India?
3) If I go by sea, can I still put in the address of fba forwarders?
To further elaborate on 3. Is there anyone here who does fba forwarding? Someone I can send the goods to and can inspect for me? Canadian seller selling in the US here…
