I mostly sell electronics. I buy at various auctions, estate sales, 2nd hand stores and sell on Amazon. When I am buying, I use the app to find the prices of items before I buy them. After bringing them home and testing, I go to list the items from my PC and I cannot find some of the listings in the product catalog. I pull out my phone and use the exact same search terms (usually brand and model number) and its the first listing to appear. I have had this problem repeatedly today. I have double and triple checked spelling errors and there aren’t any. Here are a couple of examples:
DVD/VCR combo Philips DVP3345V/17
VCR: Panasonic PV-V4021
VCR: Sony SLV-N60 4-Head Hi-Fi VCR
Can anyone tell me what is going on? It is way more time consuming to list using my phone vs on a PC. Thanks!
I had the exact same problem when I was listing new items earlier this evening. I ended up having to go to Amazon.com and searching for the items as if I was going to buy them and then clicking on the “Have one to sell?” button.
Was a pain in the butt however, I got the stuff listed.
It’s so crazy to me that things that normally work without a glitch can go left so fast at the worst times of the year.
Either their systems are going haywire because they are overloaded or they are “tweaking” stuff behind the scenes and they are causing more problems than they are fixing.
Either way, I hope you didn’t have a whole bunch to list. I only had about 20 items so, it wasn’t game changing for me.
