Rant of the day: Fulfillment center receiving errors. They clearly aren’t looking at the shipping plan, nor are they scanning each and every fnksu label in a given box. When you have similar (but different) products, or same product/different sizes, you get qty discrepancies.
What does everyone here do to stop the madness? I’ve started breaking similar items up into different boxes and/or shipments. But sometimes that just isn’t feasible.
I did well during Christmas on some speakers. COG was $6, sell price ranged from 24-30 depending on the color. Of course I had 4 different colors… And of course one wasn’t “in the box” which they later found. My only defense at this point is the weight of the box, which is why I always get a receipt when I drop off at the ups store
I hate babysitting as well. Here is an idea I havent tried yet. If your sending multiples of an item that you are sending variants of in same shipment. Try to put them in a bag or box within the shipment completely separating them from any confusion. Since we know they dont count. Also place a sticker on package stating quantity inside this compartment.
