Since we are located on the east coast of US and since we started about a year ago we’ve seen our deposit time change from around 4-5 PM EST to our last deposit being close to midnight est (although we believe it was a glitch)….anybody wanna give some insight regarding what time is the actual deposit time supposed to happen if an individual has a valid balance?
What have you guys been seeing, thank you alls 🙂
We are an East Coast seller, and we have been selling on Amazon for close to 8 years. Like clockwork, our payment is disbursed between 11a – Noon EST on Saturday. It has never changed, been delayed or moved.
It used to be that disbursement time of day was based on the hour the seller account was created. This method was to ensure a more even distribution of ACH transactions so that Amazon was not having to process them all at the same time each day. For us this is true as we created our account on a Saturday at 11am.
There is nothing in the policies or the ‘Participation Agreement’ contract that specifies. I do know 3 new sellers that opened accounts in the past year and they have their disbursements at the same time of day they created their accounts — just as I do.
If it makes a difference, myself and these 3 other sellers all have ‘Professional Seller’ accounts — unsure if there is a different experience for those sellers on ‘Individual Seller’ plans.
Are you basing the delayed disbursement on the fact the email telling you the disbursement has been done or from seeing a $0 balance in Seller Central appearing later? I ask because if your doing it based on the email, then I would encourage you to look at your actual balance in Seller Central instead. Sometimes the emails are delayed and we have received our email notification way after actual disbursement and our balance on Seller Central reflecting the reset.
